The CT Q© 1001 is a Type 1 band saw blade beveled with a straight leading tooth, so it's wear resistant while cutting. It's also carbide-tipped, which means it can handle tough materials that bi-metal blades cannot cut. These saw blades are commonly used to cut gates and risers, which is why it's referred to as a "foundry carbide blade".
This custom band saw blade has teeth ground from micro-grained carbide cylinders, welded into a tough, ductile backing material. These carbide-tipped saw blades have exceptional fatigue, shock, and wear resistance. If you need a band saw blade to handle an abrasive sawing application, turn to the Q© 1001 Qsaw©
